Now a days there are various different generations of drones which are categorised through different qualities.

Here are the breakdown of Technology generations of drones:-

  • Generation 1 – Basic remote control aircraft.
  • Generation 2 – Static design Camera Fixed, Video recorder, Still photos.
  • Generation 3static design 2 Axcis gimbals, HD video Assisted piloting, Safety modles.
  • Generation 4Transformative designs, Improved safety modes, Autopilot modes, Higher value Instrumentation.
  • Generation 5Transformative design,4K video, Intelligent piloting modes.
  • Generation 6 – Commercial suitability, Safety and regulatory standards, Automated safety modes, Intelligent piloting modes, Full autonomy, Airspace aware.      In 6th generation we are currently in the technological terms but sum of higher and professional drones are also started coming into the next generation.
  • Generation 7 – Fully compliant safety and Regulatory standard based design, Platform and Payload, Interchangeability, Fully autonomy, Full Airspace awareness, Auto action (take off, land, mission execution)

SMART DRONES

These Drones are totally autonomous delivering data in real time, made of high impact plastics, lighter and more robust. No input control from pilot once the destination or task set. Smart sensors to control monitor flight.

HOW SMART SENSORS WORKS IN SMART DRONE SYSTEM ?

The Companies allows customers to smart sensors such as RFID, Bluetooth 4.0 devices capable of capturing data and storing in cloud storage. These Companies can attached through available drones in market or existing drones, There is no need to aquire new equipment or other drones.

These Smart Drones are Next Generation drones having more efficient motors, better processors and software, safe and effective flight control and will provide new Opportunities in logistics.

3DR announced solo, The World’s First Smart Drone. It will be totally autonomous, delivering data timely, needs no input from pilot once set destination.

These Smart Drones will be fitted into Cloud- based UTM System, which will provide navigation of congestioner severe weather.

SOME OTHER IMPROVEMENTS IN FUTURE TECHNOLOGY OF DRONES

  • Commercial Drone Technology
  • Personal Drone Technology
  • Future Drone Technology

MILITARY DRONE TECHNOLOGY

Military Drone Technology has become very essential in Today’s Scenerio. Using drones for combating missions, research and development and for supervision for the border security.

According to one report by GOLDEN SACHS, global militaries will be spending $70 on drones by 2021.

These drones have one more benefit that at the time of conflicts or wars, these can replace human pilots to attack on other countries.

Military is investing more funds for better Drones Technologies to come out through.

A single US Predator drone costs approximately 4 million and total spending for this Drone is almost Rs. 2.4 million.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles are of high convenience in reducing losses and in time sensative missions.

COMMERCIAL DRONE TECHNOLOGY

The Market for Commercial and Civilian Drones are growing at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 19% to 20%.

Commercial Drone Technology is still new to the market but it is involving in some major investments from Industrial Conglomerates.

These drones can be used in fertilizing crop fields at automated basis, monitoring traffic, surveying hard to reach places and also as delivering purposes like delivery of eatables.

PERSONAL DRONE TECHNOLOGY

Personal Drones are used for entertainment or to take photos or videos from an aerial perspective. These are controlled remotely.

Personal Drone’s flight duration is measured in minutes.

It is also known as Hobby or Consumer Drone.

It’s Application includes Home Security, Child Monitoring, etc.

FUTURE DRONE TECHNOLOGY

Future Drones will be more efficient comparing to present drones.

Using of Drones to provide Internet connections in remote locations , Rescuing drones are some applications of these drones.

These Drone Industries are booming Nowdays.

There will be 100,000 jobs in unmanned aircraft and drone technology by 2025said by US.

In future drones will be largely used in various agriculture set up and will expand in analysing soil samples, herd cattles, tiny drones would be used to pollinate plants using horse hairs and a sticky ionic gel to move pollens between flowers.

USES OF FUTURE DRONES

Various Uses of Drones

There are various different uses of drones in future:-

AGRICULTURE

Drones will also be used in the process of Advanced Agriculture by using drones in various ways such as Analysing soil samples Pollination and Irrigation etc.

RESCUING AND SECURITY

Recently a Drone saved two swimmers in Australia. These drones will up come in India too at vast scale in near future.

In Today’s Scenerio Drones are becoming crucial factor to the function of various businesses and have go through that areas where certain technologies had not penetrate previously.

From Deliveries timely to Military functions, Drones are proving to an extreme level of technology.

Where man cannot reach , these drones reaches and by their upgrade technology they do that work very clearly, efficiently and successfully without taking large amount of time .

HISTORY OF DRONES

DRONES have been invented for more than two decades.

In 1849, in Italy at Venice ,fighting for its independence from Australia. For first time Australia attacked Venice with hot-air, hydrogen, or helium filled ballons quipped with bombs and that too were unmanned.

Attack by Australia at Venice, 1849 by unmanned hot air ballons with bombs embedded in them.

First pilotless radio-controlled aircrafts were used in World War – 1.

In 1918, the US army developed the experimental Kettering bug, an unmanned “flying bomb aircraft”,and was never used in combat.

First generally used drone appeared in 1935 as a full size of the DE HAVILLAND and DH82B “Queen Bee” biplane, fitted with a radio and servo operated controls in the back seat. But shot by artillery gunners in training.

USES OF DRONES

Today Drones are used for varities of purposes from Military to Photoshoots.

Drones have multiple uses, which includes

  • Aerial Photography for movies and weddings
  • Delivery and Shipping
  • Supplying essentials for disaster management
  • Geographic Mapping of inaccessible locations
  • Crop Monitoring
  • Safety Inspections
  • Cargo Transportation
  • Forecasting Hurricanes and Tornadoes
  • Border Control Surveillance

Increasing work efficiency and productivity, decreasing workload and production costs, improving accuracy, customer relations and solving security issues on a vast scale are a few of the top uses of drones.

Adoption of Drones Technology is getting vast by Fad stage to Mega-Trend stage and by casting technology of drones other Businesses started realising its scope and necessity at the Global scale.

This Drone Technology does not require any large amount of efforts and energy, And this is the main reason why they are being globally accepted by other companies and businesses.
