Selection in UPSC Civil Services
The Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) conducts the UPSC Civil Service Examination every year.It checks whether the aspirant is able for this job , he/she is having that much of skills in him/her or not? It includes knowledge, which should have to an aspirant to become a Civil Servent.
To become a Civil Servent , you should have to climbed up three stages of this examination .
- UPSC Preliminary Exams (Prelims) This is the first stage of UPSC examination. It is a MCQ based exam. The objective of this examination is to filter serious aspirants from this exam.
- UPSC Mains Exam Being the second stage of UPSC exam, It is more tough comparatively to prelims. It includes the subjective format , writing skills, word limit should be accurate as per format. Also it includes Answer Writing which is the most demanding part to examination and important to your UPSC strategy.
- UPSC Interview After bridging the gap of Prelims and Mains, you will be welcomed through an Interview which is a personality test. UPSC Interview is a type of exam which combinely tests your verbal skills, personalty, way to express yourself, you body language, etc. Actually by Interview, the interviewers test you to know about you more, they want you to be perfect for these services. They check whether you will be a right person to be a Civil Servant or not. They also want that you should have those qualities in you to impress them at your first sight.
